Una....a step into adulthood

Living in a cone...not as much fun as it looks
(author's note: I started this Hub several weeks ago, as happens so often, we have a certain story in mind when we first sit down to write, but life does not have a "hold" button. So since I started this Hub, Una has moved on with her life, without un-due complications, without complaining about having to endure a contraption like the cone in the pictures and without decreasing her enjoyment of her life.
And this, I think, is the story I would tell about our puppy Una and the video below conveys this better than anything else. Watching Una running around the yard, simply for the enjoyment of being a healthy, young dog says more than I can put into a Hub.)
...Una had her procedure (spaying) last Thursday and came out surgery quite nicely, we were able to bring her home the same day. A very resilient dog, she slept through that Thursday night and the better part of the next day.
...fast forward 3 weeks or so. The story of Una seems to be the story of energy and life and exhuberance...things that all dogs do so well.
...but who would get in the way of a dog with this kind of energy!

Una looks like a flower! She would die just knowing that all the little boy dogs saw her like this! The video was great too.

You just made my day with this sweet story and video. You are so right that the video says it all. Amazing how happy, happy dogs make us humans. I just love your hub.
